Pearson is reported to have opened talks with Harry Redknapp about taking the 18-year-old for the whole season and the Spurs boss is said to be happy to sanction the move.
Bostock impressed at the Under-19 European Championships but needs regular games and he is unlikely to get that at White Hart Lane.
Hull chairman Adam Pearson confirmed: ‘John is a player that the manager admires and hopefully we can get something sorted.’

Bostock, who spent the early part of last season on loan at Brentford in League One, recently said: ‘My dream is to play for Spurs. But I’d definitely go out on loan. I need to play.’
